Sharp dual blade with a safe blunt tip.
Thumb opening positive pivot button - can be swapped to the opposite side for left handed opening
Folding blade remains safely locked for use.
Stainless blade length 78mm
Thumb opening positive pivot button can be swapped to the opposite side for left handed opening. It is however possible to open the blade with either hand no matter what side the button is positioned.
To open with the other hand use the middle finger to easily push the positive pivot button. You can also open the blade without touching the button: simply run the button side along your PFD jacket and the button will catch enough to open the blade.
The advantage of the positive pivot button is that it is very obvious to find and push even with cold fingers and reduced dexterity
To be competent it is best to practise opening the knife in diferent hands & and practise cutting rope, webbing, neoprene etc with it.
Brushed aluminium case & rubber grip.
The blade can be re-sharpened with a stone
