Description
The RUK Sport V Bar is a clever long roof cradle carrier which can fit all types of rectangular roof bar. It will also fit Aero / Oval Bars up to 60mm width with its standard fitting kit.
The V Bar stretcher bar bolts onto your roof bars by way of 2 clamps which firmly fix down to the roof bar by tightening the nuts down on the threaded clamp , capturing the spreader plate.
When the stretcher bar is firmly secured , the two V Bar profiles simply clip in to the end box sections and are held in place by the sprung button on the bottom of the V profile.
This makes removing the V profiles super quick and easy , so that you only leave the stretcher bar on your roof bars when you are not carrying your kayak / craft.
The V Bar also includes an additional box section which enables you to utilise the detachable V cradles as a kayak stand for one end of your kayak when not on the roof of the vehicle – really handy if you want to prep your craft prior to launching. This minimise damage to your kayak / craft by rough surfaces

Depth of the V Bar Stretcher Bar:
If you need to fit the V Bar to even wider / deeper roof bars , the additional KR000 fitting kit includes 4 clamps with a usable thread length of 83mm with plate and nuts fitted in place – this will also allow fitting to roof bars (including Aero Bars) up to a width of 64mm
