Description
These uprights allow much greater space optimisation on the roof bars – by allowing kayaks / craft to be fixed on their sides, you can get multiple kayaks on one roof bar – up to the maximum rating of the roof bars / rack.
Ruk Sport Upright Bars are offered in two designs – these ones are the aero slot type to fit oval profile roof bars. We also offer standard bar type to fit rectangular profile roof bars
Both types are designed to clamp firmly to vehicle roof bars creating a robust fixed upright bar to safely strap craft against
They offer an easy way to carry one or more kayaks on your roof. By placing the kayaks on their side edge and securing to the upright bar.
For most sit on top kayaks you will need the 40cm upright bar as its easier t0 reach it over the edge of the kayak when securing it.
This model is specially designed for roof bars with T-Track slot fittings on the upper side of the aero bar. This is normally found on aero bars with the T-Track as a pre formed slot in the top of the roof bars.
